The 0968-0 is a factory-encoded passive card that does not include a battery. It can be used in combination with any Cotag reader. When it is used with a Cotag hands-free reader‚ the reading range is approximately 34 cm. With Cotag proximity readers‚ the reading range is up to 11 cm. One of the major advantages of Cotag technology is that active and passive cards can be mixed in the same system to provide ultimate convenience and cost-efficiency.
